I looked at your site and hope that business is going well for you and your brother. We are all doing fine and this would have been our 11th season since we moved into the Desert Lake house.Unfortunately due to the pandemic and travel restrictions we were not able to use the cottage. The last time anyone was there was in January so an entire year lost due to the pandemic.
We kept hoping that the governments monthly review this year would finally give way to an opening of the border but no such luck. I had hoped that perhaps there would have been some sort of exemption for property owners but up to now that hasn’t happened. We were prepared to quarantine for the entire summer there if necessary.
I tried to figure out how we could somehow make a visit under the guise of ‘essential business’ but no luck. Anyway we are hopeful that as soon as the boarder is opened back up we can get there and enjoy it even more. Certainly not being able to go has made us want to be there all the more.
I am now retired and my wife Mary Lou and I are able to spend the most time there through out the year enjoying all four seasons. John and his family have also been able to spend a lot of time there. Our families work together well and the partnership has worked perfectly since the start. Between our kids and grandchildren it is such a special place.
If you are planning a new custom cottage, even in the very first stages of your thinking, we would love to speak with you.
